Bohemiae Rosa 2021 #02 | In FOOTSTEPS of the ARCHDUKE

Luis Salvador de Austria was an exceptional traveler, scientist, writer, art patron and nature protector. He lived alternately in several places, and during his travels between these homes he often set out on wanderings in European countries. His home and one of important places was Brandýs nad Labem, the chateau in Bohemia, near Prague. His very beloved home was in Mallorca. During his first journeys through the Mediterranean, he discovered the Balearic Islands for tourism. He had written and published many books about these artist-sought-after islands, exploring and protecting local population, fauna and flora, traditional crafts or customs. And we will focus on his legacy in Brandýs nad Labem and the current life in this town and in the Brandýs chateau. The participants of the creative stay are professional and amateur photographers and photography students.
