Island Creative 2021 #02 | LIVING at SEASIDE and relations to SUSTAINABILITY

This creative stay is based in Palma de Mallorca, the seaside city with very easy reach to the whole island and all its surrounding seacoasts.

Through our work a long-term project will be extended by artists’ various views on environmental issues of the island. 

Nature of Mallorca was very much loved, protected and pictured by the Archduke Louis Salvador, our czech-majorcan connection, who also as the scientist devoted his time to deep research of majorcan landscape, flora and fauna. Our aim is

The gathering will be accompanied by a couple of site-specific exhibition experiments. The exact places and form will be chosen by participants together.

This creative stay is all the way throught guided and supported by visual thinker and photography explorer Zuzana Malina Cernohousova (www.zuzanamalina.art), and other guests related to the topic. Technical support and production is guaranted during the whole activity.

Our main goal is to develop in our perception of photography media and learn together. 

Important condition for participation is not just love for photography, but real interest in deeper understanding of island Mallorca and a motivation to be useful by one's own photography work to local life.

The cost for participation on this creative stay is 40euro/1day (including an accomodation in very good style Y-hostel, or other pre-arranged houses, every day photography talks and consulting, production of site-specific exhibition including proffesional photography prints.)
