Island Creative 2022 #04 | Meeting local artists and institutions

This creative stay will be based in Valldemossa, with its pleasant athmosphere in the middle of summer.

Going in the footsteps of the Archduke Louis Salvador, our historical connection between Bohemia (Czech Republic) and Mallorca, inspires to strenghten connections with local artists and throught various meetings and interviews get closer insight into majorcan circumstances of life and culture.

The gatherings and interviews will be held in charming garden in the heart of ancient Valldemossa, the garden of a sculptural studio of Catalina Sureda. For those interested the workshop in sculpting is offered by her in meantime.

The aim is to focus on contemporary questions and to share the exchange in words and photography to wider audience especially in Czech Republic and Mallorca.

As a constant visual thinker, passionate photographer, an amateur explorer I continue my approach and real interest in deeper understanding of the island Mallorca and the whole archipelago of "Las Islas Baleares" with a motivation to be useful by one's own photography research to local life and sustainable tourism.
